Innovative technology that offers industry components and operations from rank wildcat exploration through drilling / completions activities storing and flowing hydrocarbons.  K-BOS offers an 'Airbag' approach in the prevention of Major Accident Hazards (MAH) through its ability to Shear and Seal the wellbore in milliseconds.  The capability and capacity of K-BOS is unrivalled in the market place and when that understanding is realised projects that historically may have had operational limitations whether in Drilling, Completion, Workover and Abandonment designs can offer enhanced performance benefits e.g. Ability to use stronger, increased size drilling / completion strings whilst still retaining 'Shear & Seal' capability. Workover and completion activities in severe sour conditions. Reduced EDS sequence timing can open up use of DP units in shallower water depths (Joint study with Kongsberg) and several major operators are supporting our studies into that K-BOS enabler.

At this time our K-BOS product portfolio includes 3 sizes 5-15M (5 1/8"), 13-10M (13 5/8") & 18-15M (18 3/4").  The largest 18-15M has 3 designs that can be retrofitted to a Cameron TL, Hydril Compact or NOV NXT cavities or provided a Emergency Shut-in Device (E-SID) that is designed to fit between the SS wellhead and the rig BOP.
